We’ve expanded our existing integration with Ulverscroft’s uLibrary platform to bring audiobook listening directly into the Library App. This update allows library patrons to browse, borrow and listen to audiobooks without leaving the app, making it easier than ever to listen to their favourite books.
A frictionless audiobook experience
Digital borrowing has become an essential service for modern libraries but users often face barriers such as additional downloads, separate logins or switching between multiple applications. This integration removes those obstacles by embedding uLibrary’s audiobook player directly within our Library App.
Now, patrons can discover titles, borrow them instantly and begin listening from the same interface. The result is a smoother user journey that helps libraries improve engagement with their digital collections.

The integration also opens the door to uLibrary’s extensive audiobook catalogue, which includes thousands of titles across a wide range of genres. Library users can access works from bestselling authors such as Michael Connelly, Mick Herron and Florence Knapp, alongside many others.
